Who we are
My name is Aoife O’Rourke. I grew up in the beautiful coastal town of Wicklow, on the east coast of Ireland. I am a daughter, sister, friend, wife, mother and a conservation ecologist with over 17 years of professional experience. Nature has been a passion of mine all of my life. In fact, even my very first memories (which reach back to the tender age of 2 years old) are all nature-centric. I have made it my mission in life to advocate for nature and help to raise awareness about our responsibility to live more in equilibrium with nature, and make reparation for all of the damage we have done to our precious planet and it’s ecological systems. The main focus of my work at the moment is nature restoration, and summoning action. I am a strong believer in collaborative conservation and community-based conservation. Together we can do so much!
